Voronoi Cells is the organic one — the cracked, cellular pattern of dried mud, giraffe hide, leaf veins, soap foam and bone. It is the only texture in the set with no repeating tile, which is why it reads as grown rather than manufactured, and why a single Voronoi panel can carry a whole design where a grid would just look like a grid. The pattern is computed properly, not faked: the face's bounding box is tiled with a jittered point grid and the true Voronoi cell around each seed is built by half-plane clipping, so every wall sits exactly halfway between two neighbouring seeds and meets at real three-way junctions. Each cell is then inset by half the gap, leaving a continuous wall network. The seeding is a deterministic hash rather than a random generator, so the same inputs always give the same cells — change something upstream, reopen the file next month, hand the part to someone else, and nothing reshuffles. Jitter is the character control: 0 gives a regular, almost hexagonal field, 0.95 gives wildly irregular cracked-earth cells, and the 0.6 to 0.75 range is where most people want to be. Cell sets the average size, Gap the wall width, Depth the relief. Keep Gap at roughly twice your nozzle width, around 0.8 mm on a 0.4 mm nozzle, so the wall network prints as one connected structure. A shallow Depth of 0.6 to 1.5 mm reads beautifully without weakening the host wall; push it past the wall thickness and you get a true cut-through Voronoi screen — very effective for light, but remember that irregular cells mean the weakest wall, not the average one, sets the strength. Good for lamp shades and diffusers, decorative panels and screens, planter walls, phone and controller grips, jewellery, vases and wall art.
