CV tulip housing

The tulip housing (female) half of a constant-velocity joint: a cup with three axial grooves at 120° the CV tripod’s rollers ride in, transmitting torque through an angle at constant velocity. The cavity clears the tripod with a fit gap and the grooves seat the rollers. Set hub / arm / roller sizes, housing height, wall and fit clearance. Pair with the CV tripod spider.
